Citizens are made from one shape. The beginning girdles the hips & waist, edges touching, but as it grows to accommodate the expanding chest it can no longer encircle our form. It swathes the back and then in a series of shaped arcs it reaches over one shoulder to fill the front.

It’s journey complete, it closes in a circle around the neck with a seam on the remaining shoulder, leaving a tracing of contrasting lines hightlighting the structure of its being.
